Legal & Privacy

1. Data Protection & Privacy (GDPR)

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679, IDefender operates on a "Privacy by Design" and "Privacy by Default" principle. The Application is a client-side tool; all image processing, obfuscation, and metadata removal are executed locally within the User's web browser environment (Edge Computing).

Zero Data Retention: Neither the Application nor the Developer (hereinafter "the Provider") collects, transmits, stores, or processes any personal data, biometric data, or image files on external servers or cloud infrastructure. All data remains exclusively within the volatile memory (RAM) of the User's device and is purged upon closing the browser session.

2. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification

The Application is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law (including EU consumer protection laws), the Provider shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Application.

User Responsibility: The User assumes full legal responsibility for the content processed through the Application and its subsequent distribution. The Provider does not monitor, control, or take responsibility for the User's actions or the legal consequences thereof.

3. Automatic Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the IDefender Application, the User acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Legal Terms and the Privacy Policy. Usage of the Application constitutes an automatic and irrevocable acceptance of these conditions and all legal consequences arising from the Application's technical operation.

4. Disclaimer of Guarantee

While IDefender utilizes advanced adversarial techniques to enhance privacy, the Provider does not guarantee absolute immunity against all current or future facial recognition systems, AI training crawlers, or forensic analysis tools. This tool is a defensive measure and should be used as part of a broader privacy strategy.
